Q: What is your role at the Pancreas Center?

FG: I am an interventional Gastroenterologist. I work closely with the Pancreas Center team. I perform ERCP and Endoscopic procedures that assist with the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases.

Q: Why should I come to the Pancreas Center over other centers?

FG: Our center provides prompt and high quality care for patients with pancreatic disease. Our institution and its’ physicians rank among the highest in the country

Q: Will my children develop pancreatic cancer or other diseases of the pancreas?

FG: Some forms of pancreatic disease such as cancer, cysts, and pancreatitis can run in families. However, not all types will, so it is important to meet with our geneticists to help determine what category you will fall into.
