Note that this tool is not meant for use by women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. In addition, a history of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) or lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS) increases the risk of breast cancer. This risk assessment tool will not be accurate for women who have a history of these conditions or who have had prior radiation to the chest.
