About:

Dr. Rachel Liou is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Columbia University. She graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine, where she was a recipient of the Gold Humanisim Award. She completed her general surgery residency at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey and went on to complete her fellowship training in Endocrine Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her clinical interests include the diseases of the parathyroid, thyroid, and adrenal glands. She primarily functions out of Christ Hospital and Hoboken University Medical Center, in a partnership between Columbia University and CarePoint Health.
