This groundbreaking paper was based on international consensus among 130 ECMO experts and establishes the first criteria to define requirements of an adult ECMO center. Daniel Brodie, Medical Director of the ECMO Program at NYP/Columbia and Alain Combes, MD, from La Pitie in France, spearheaded the effort.
