Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Care
No matter your age, no matter the severity or complexity of your condition, our team is here to bring you personalized, compassionate hypertrophic cardiomyopathy care.
For some, surgery may be the best option to relieve hypertrophic cardiomyopathy symptoms and prevent serious complications. As members of Columbia’s cross-specialty Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center, our surgeons work collaboratively with cardiologists, imaging experts, geneticists, researchers, and you to help decide the best course of action.
Our center is one of the few specialized, comprehensive programs for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy care in the country, and our surgeons are amongst the most experienced in the world at performing septal myectomy, the specific procedure that treats this condition.
